#11 - Stollen, Persimmon, Yuzu And Cake

 Hello, Welcome To Part 11 Of My Food Diary, It's The 11th Week That I'm In Japan, And It's Still The Summer Season, Basically The Second Week Of Summer, And If It's The Summer Season, It's Possible To Have New Foods As A Try! So, For Today's Food Diary Entry, It's  Stollen Persimmon, Yuzu And Cake! Anyways, Let's Enjoy These Foods! 

Stollen - A Special Kind Of Bread!

What Is Stollen? Well, Stollen is a spiced bread filled with nuts, dried fruit, and topped with icing or powdered sugar, Basically, Stollen Persimmon Is Bread, My Grandmother Made It For Breakfast This Morning, And It's Really Good! 

 Persimmon - A Strange Fruit!

What is a persimmon? Well, The persimmon is the edible fruit of a number of species of trees in the genus Diospyros. The most widely cultivated of these is the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese kaki persimmon, Basically It's A Type Of Fruit!

Anyways, I Had These Fruits As A Snack, And The Are Really Great, They Are Like A Berry, Mixed With A Peach! But They Are So Good! My Grandpa Came Over And Gave Them To Me, And He Grows Them In His Garden!

Yuzu - A New Type Of Citrus! 

Wow, Trying These Citrus Fruits Everytime Is Making Me Become A Citrus Lover, And This Time, It's Yuzu, Actually Yuzu Citruses Are Good, They Are Juicy And Have A Sweet Flavor, And Actually A Yuzu Is Like An Orange! And They Have A Different Taste!

Oh, Also, Yuzu Can Be Put In The Bath As Well, In Japan, They Call It A Traditional "Yuzu Bath" And It Can Make Great Health Benefits! Oh, Also I Managed To Eat One While In The Bath... It's Actually Weird To See Myself Eating A Fruit While Taking A Bath, I Haven't Eaten A Fruit While Bathing Before! But It's My First Time! 

Cake - A Sweet And A Classic Type Of Dessert!

Me And My Sister Tried A Cake Today, It's A Regular Old Cake With Strawberries In It, It Was Really Great, And The Strawberries And Cream Were Tasty (It's Called A Strawberry Shortcake) And It's Sweet, Me, My Sister And Grandma Tasted It, And It's Really Sweet!

Afterall, At This Conclusion, The Fruits That Are Citrus Like, Combined With Soft, Baked Goods Are Like A Combo, Just Like Different Types! Anyways, See You Soon! Bye! - S.T

#10 - Candy Corn, Soup, Hiking, Mikan, and Meat Bun

 Hello! Welcome To Another Entry On My Food Blog! Today, In Part 10, We Are Reviewing Candy Corn, Soup, Mikan And A Meat Bun! Also, I Will Be Talking About A New Activity I Did (Since It's The Start Of The Summer Season, And Spring Is Over) And It's Called "Hiking"! Anyways, Let's Go On This Food Adventure!

Candy Corn - Candy, Or Corn? 

No, Not That Candy Corn That Is Orange, Yellow In White Like The One Back Home, This Type Of Candy Corn Is Very Special In Japan, It's Basically Square With Pink And White On It, And What Makes This Candy Special Is Because It Represents A Long Healthy Life For A Thousand Years! And With A Jelly-Like Feel!

I Never Knew That I Discovered A New Type Of Candy Corn Until Now, In The Japanese Style! 

Soup - The Flavor Of The Day, In Liquid Form!

So, At A Vending Machine, I discovered a new food, That Has The Question, Why Is Soup Inside A Can? Well, Soup In A Can, It's A Weird Combanation, Well, I Will Tell You! It's Soup That Is Developed In Vending Machines That You Can Drink With, And No Spoon Is Needed For It!

I Picked A Corn Soup Kind Of Soup In A Can, And It's Really Good, It Is Combined With Broth And Mixed With Corn, And It's Good, Also, My First Weird Food Packaging Discovery!

So, Anyways, Let's Take A Break From The Food Review And Talk About A New Activity, Hiking!

It Was Warm Today, Since Summer Was Already Starting In Japan, My Friend Asked Me That We Are Going On A Hike, So We Vistied The Mountians Far Away From Where I Live, We Walked A Long Path And Explored The Views!

And It's My First Time Visiting A Mountain Path And Also My First Summer In Japan, And It's Very Great Doing My First Activity Of The Summer!

Mikan - Also Known As Oranges, As One May Call It!

After That Long Hiking Trip, I Managed To Walk Home And Eat A Good Fruit, An Orange, Or A "Mikan" Or Written In Kanji Is "オレンジ" It's A Fruit That Is Juicy That Is Used To Make Orange Juice, How Cool! When I Took A Bite Of It, It Was Really Juicy, One Orange Slice Equals The Juice Inside! Sweet!

Meat Bun - Meat Inside Of Bread, All In One Package!

A Meat Bun, Quite Weird For Meat Inside A Piece Of Bread, Right? Well, I Tried It, And It's Good, The Meat Was Well Cooked, And The Bread Is Sweet! 

Anyways, To Recap, With The Activity For The Day Being Hiking, It's Never Too Late To Discover An Activity You Love, Accompanied With Delicious Food As A Side, Whatever Is Sweet, Like Traditonal Japanese Candy Corn Or Oranges, The Strangest Ones, Like Soup In A Can, Or Freshly Cooked Ones, Like A Meat Bun, These Tastes Of Food, Combined With Activites, Are Great!
